What ID will I need to present?+
California law requires every signer to present valid, current, government-issued photo identification — or an ID issued within the last five years. Driver's license, state ID, US passport, US military ID, foreign passport, and several other forms are all acceptable. Digital IDs are not accepted. Full ID list →
How quickly can Grace come out?+
Most appointments are confirmed within 24 hours of submitting the form. For urgent hospital, bedside, or same-day apostille work, call (818) 625-2037 directly — Grace will tell you immediately whether she can fit you in.
Can Grace come to a hospital or care facility?+
Yes. Bedside notarization at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice, and private homes is one of Grace's specialties. The signer must be alert, coherent, and able to communicate — California law does not permit notarization for signers who cannot acknowledge their signature. Parking fees are included in the bedside fee.
Do I pay before or after the appointment?+
Payment is due at the time of the appointment. Grace accepts cash, check, and Venmo. For loan signings arranged through escrow or title, billing follows your provider's standard agreement.
Does Grace work weekends?+
Saturday appointments are available by call — phone (818) 625-2037 to confirm availability. Sunday is reserved for emergencies only. Evening rates apply after 5:00 PM on weekdays.
